Dr Kim Zambelli began working at Victoria Point Family Practice in 2000 after completing her medical degree at Sydney University and moving to Brisbane to complete her general practice training. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP’s. She began her working life as a Registered Nurse and then went on to train as a midwife. Kim is a mother of four boys. Her particular interests include mothers and babies, promoting breast feeding and supporting new mums. Having been involved in many different types of sports and activities she is also keen on managing injuries and preventive health. In line with the Victoria Point Family Practice philosophy of being a cradle to grave orientated practice she also visits most of the local nursing homes regularly.
